MDC 7830 - Psychiatry Clerkship

Description
The course introduces Period 3 medical students to general and specialty psychiatry and allows students to develop competencies in diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders. The structure of the clerkship ensures that students receive exposure to different clinical practice settings, including emergency department (ED), inpatient, outpatient, and consultation-liaison services. Prerequisite: Enrolled in the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. Add Consent: Department Consent Required. Drop Consent: Department Consent Required.
