This class focuses on the development of literature in the face of changes in science and industrialization in the 19th-century British Empire. Authors studied included Tennyson, Browning, Arnold, Barrett-Browning, and those who comprise "The Golden Age" of British Children's Literature. LIT. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 1100 , ENGL 1200, and 2000 level or above
