HUM 1931 - Humanities and Social Issues

Description
A general education humanities elective, this seminar is designed around the marqee-learning outcome and the first-year reading project. The content of the book and the specific learning outcome selected for the year will focus the direction of the content of the course. Material from philosophy, literature, the arts, communiction, and religion will be used to expand on the themes raised in the first year reading project book. This course also addresses the theme of community awareness and involvement and requires service-learning.
