He does not post grades until the end of the course. However he does give back the assignments he's graded throughout the semester so you have some idea of what your grade may be and you can see him in his office hours to discuss this. All papers are turned in printed out. Nothing was turned in online. So make sure you have access to a printer!

Show up to the lectures and pay attention. He asks if there are questions and answers thoroughly. We wrote two papers over the semester and had two exams. But the exam questions are on the syllabus so there is plenty of time to prepare. He is pretty straight forward with what is expected of you.
