Great Professor. Had him for comp 1+2 and now Creative writing. He knows what; she teaching and likes doing it. He cares about his students and is personable with them. He doesn't believe in tests cause its a writing class. He does give papers and short stories that you have to do, but explains them and they easy. Definetly recommend taking him.

As one of the few published novelists on campus, maybe the only, Prof. Hautmann was the perfect teacher to take for creative writing. we did fiction, poetry and even plays and he offered comments that made stuff way better. Students hardly ever skipped his class just cause it was so much fun. Probably the best class I've taken.
