Dr. Sands is one of the best professors that I have taken thus far at FGCU. I took his classes for Materials 1 and 2. He is down-to-earth, caring, and willing to work with you. He's extremely personable and implements real-world examples and applications into his coursework. If Sands is available for a class, take it. You won't regret it!

Sands is the best teacher for Construction Management. You need to take him for materials one. He is very down to earth and is very caring about teaching and his students. He really needs a raise for how amazing he is. He makes learning a lot of fun
