ANTR 322 - Anthropology Of Latin America

Description
Prerequisite: sophomore standing. Satisfies: a university graduation requirement–global studies. This course is an introductory survey of contemporary cultures of Central and South America, including both aboriginal and peasant societies. Emphasis is placed on the merging and clashing of European, Indian and African, rich and poor and the continuing character of these conflicts into the present.
