GEOL 1305 - Environmental Geology

Description
Studies the interrelationships between humans and the environment from a geological perspective with emphasis on environmental regulations, ethics, methods of waste disposal, types of pollution, case studies, and an introduction to the process of environmental cleanups and the remediation of contaminated areas. Prerequisite: GEOL 1301 and 1101 or GEOL 1303 and 1103. (3:0).
