He is very intelligent, but he expects too much from his students. Film Theory is an incredibly difficult topic to follow and there were many times when he did not explain things in clear terms and I was so lost. He's not the best at answering questions or simplifying topics to help his students. Get ready to read dry, convoluted pages every week.

Took this class over a year ago. Got As & never gave him cause to question my work ethic. Before finals, I had a very close family member die. I asked for a 2 day extension on a paper due to travel. He was cold - suggested I was lazy and procrastinating. I will never forget how he made me feel. Why be cruel to a student going through a tough time?
