I enjoyed the content of his freshman seminar, but Reiter was extremely condescending, and didn't seem to care about his students or want to discuss opposing views. He knows what he's talking about, but is unhelpful and even rude at times (a trend in Emory's poli sci department).

Great lecturer but he cares more about demonstrating his knowledge than anyone actually engaging with the material. Most of the grade is a huge final paper (no extensions) and an exam which covers everything. Readings are good and well explained in class, you'll definitiely learn a lot but be ready to work hard
