Andrew Kazama

Kazama is really a caring and passionate instructor. His lecture is interesting and attractive. However, he talks too much about personal story and unrelated stuff, and spends too much time for discussion. He doesn't talk a lot about the solid materials. The tests are really hard and we have to learn by ourselves. Difficult to get a good grade.

BEST CLASS! It was definitely challenging but extremely rewarding. You learn how to dissect research papers and write peer reviews. Papers are due the day before each class and particiaption is mandatory. There are three exams for each section of the course. Go to office hours, they are very helpful. Kazama is awesome, I highly recommend.
