SPC 2608 - Fundamentals of Speech Communication

Description
Meets General Education requirement. This is a basic course in effective oral communication concentrating on improvement of speaking and listening through individual and group speech activities. Preparatory activities for speech presentations will promote awareness, tolerance, and acceptance of people from different ethnicities, cultures, socioeconomic levels, age groups, gender, or other defining cultural/ethnic differences. A grade of "C" or higher is needed to fulfill AA graduation requirements. This is a designated diversity-infused course.
