ELC 0606 - Listening Strategies

Description
In this course, students learn notetaking and review strategies for understanding the main ideas and concepts of academic lectures and informational recordings. Students listen to online lectures, recorded documentaries, and live on-campus presentations on a variety of academic topics. Using these sources as content, students also develop effective test-taking strategies, including predicting what types of information professors might ask, analyzing different question types and requirements, and selecting relevant information from student-generated notes.
