VET 120 - Breeds And Behavior

Description
This course provides an overview of the common breeds of companion animals. Breed characteristics and genetic disease predisposition are discussed. Fundamental principles of animal behavior, including patterns of behavior, evolution of behavior, reproduction, and abnormal behavior are addressed. Prerequisites: (BIO 140 or BIO 150) and (CHM 100 or CHM 110) and BIO 100 and (Test score or MAT 153 or higher)
