SSC 106 - Introduction to Leadership

Description
This course introduces the student to leadership by focusing on what it means to be a good leader with emphasis on the practice of leadership. Topics include the nature of leadership, recognizing leadership traits, developing leadership skills, creating a vision, setting the tone, listening to out-group members, overcoming obstacles, and addressing values in leadership. The course will help students to understand and improve their own leadership performance. Prerequisite: None
