CHM 241 - Organic Chemistry II

Description
This course, a continuation of Organic Chemistry I, covers molecular structure, bonding, nomenclature, properties, reactions, spectrometric analysis of aromatic compounds, alcohols, phenols, ethers, aldehydes, ketones, carboxylic acids, carboxylic acid derivatives, amines, and polymers. The laboratory consists of related isolation, purification, synthesis, and analysis techniques. Prerequisites: CHM 240
