AGS 244 - Landscape Plans & Construction

Description
This course introduces problems in landscape planning, including plant materials and elements of design using computerized programs of design. Topics include interpreting landscape designs, identifying landscape plants, and planting/maintaining trees and shrubs. Landscape construction is emphasized in the areas of grading and drainage, paver installation, and the use/maintenance of landscape equipment. Current topic discussions provide an understanding of careers and the employability skills needed to enter the landscape industry. Prerequisites: CIS 107 or concurrent and AGS 101 and AGS 105
