Mary Kirby-Calder

She was very helpful outside of class but during class she was often times unorganized and her slides were difficult to read. Her tests were straightforward and you knew what to expect. She is quirky so I enjoyed having her as a professor but I probably wouldn't take her again.

Dr. Kirby-Calder is informed, funny, and engaging. Her class structure is a healthy mix of lecture and discussion, allowing students the opportunity to create and share their own connections to the readings, while taking time to make sure the class is properly contextualizing the pieces being discussed. Keep on top of the readings though!
