Provides an in-depth study of immunohematology principles and practices as applicable to medical laboratory technology. Topics include: genetic theory and clinical implications, immunology, donor collection, pre-transfusion testing, management of disease statistics, and safety and quality control. (Career Course) Prerequisite: BIOL 2215K or BIOL 2213K.
