Description

Term hours: 72 lecture. This is a course for students wishing to review basic arithmetic skills. It includes the concepts of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers, fractions, mixed numbers, and decimals. Also covered will be percents, ratios, rates, solving proportions, perimeter and area of geometric figures, English and Metric measurements and an introduction to negative numbers. There will be an emphasis on applying the mathematics to real-world situations. Non-Degree Credit
