This one-hour course provides instruction into the pharmacotherapeutic management of major oncology diseases and the provision of supportive care to oncology patients. Emphasis is placed on the efficacy, safety, and comparative value of oncology drug therapy, as well as issues surrounding the care of a cancer patient. Didactic knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, and drug therapy management is applied to disease states specific to this population.
