Description

Ordinary differential equations, including first and second order equations; applications in science,engineering, and geometry; the use of infinite series and complex numbers in solving equations; a discussion of nth order linear differential equations; an introduction to LaPlace transforms; numerical methods and systems of differential equations. (4 cr. hrs.) (Spring). Prerequisite: MATH 1620. A graphing calculator is required; Texas Instruments TI-83 or TI-84 recommended.Meets SUNY General Education requirement in Mathematics.
