MATH 2410 - Probability and Statistics I

Description
Introduces the basic concepts of probability theory. Topics include descriptive statistics, axioms of probability, conditional probability, independence, continuous and discrete random variables, distribution functions, expectation, variance, and the Central Limit Theorem. Mathematical software will be used to reinforce concepts. (3 cr. hrs.) (ASN). Prerequisite: MATH 1620. Meets SUNY General Education requirements in Mathematics.
