Description
This course focuses on the holistic needs of aggregate populations within the health care system and the community with an emphasis on assisting individuals, families and communities with the restoration, maintenance, and promotion of health and wellbeing inclusive of acute and chronic physical and psychiatric challenges. Physical and psychological alterations which affect individuals, families and vulnerable populations in the community across the health continuum including end of life concerns are discussed. Clinical practice experiences are provided in both out-patient and acute care settings. 6.0 credits.
