EM 381 - Logistics Management

[Cross-Listed SB381]Logistics involves planning, implementation and control of the forward and reverse flow and storage of goods, services, and information in the supply chain in order to effectively meet customer demand. Primary topics covered include management and location of facilities, management of channel networks, warehousing, transportation, management and design of integrated logistics networks, distribution strategies, third-party logistics, international logistics, and vehicle routing. In addition to lectures, case studies, numerical assignments and simulation of logistics systems may be utilized. Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisites: MK 320 and OM/EM 331.
