BUS 603 - Statistics for Business Decisions

Description
Corequisite, BUS 600. This course provides students with the statistical tools and conceptual framework to make informed management decisions. Data are described by their central tendency and dispersion characteristics. Sampling theory, sampling distributions, statistical inference, and testing of hypotheses as applied to economic and business problems. Correlation, regression analysis, and index numbers form a major component of this course. Statistical applications and the use of computers are an integral part of the course material. Some sections of this course will be restricted to students admitted to specific degree programs. (Offered every year.) 3 credits. Enrollment Requirements: SEC-MBAFT only Corequisite, BUS 600.
