ENGL 246B - Survey of English Literature B: Romantics to the Present

Description
This course studies British literature from the Romantic Period to contemporary British and postcolonial texts. Emphasis is on the study of influential and significant texts and authors; the evolution of literary traditions, contexts, and genres; and the contexts of British literature: historical, philosophical, social, political, and aesthetic. Enrollment Requirements: Completion of English 100 or equivalent with a grade of "C" or "Pass," or completion of the English Placement Process.
