BIO 1705 - Biological Concepts

BIO 1705. Biological Concepts (I, II, III; 4) An introduction to the basic concepts used in the study of biology. Topics to be covered include metrics and measurement, scientific instrumentation, microscopy, the cell and cellular metabolism and genetics (Mendelian and population). Class will meet for three hours of lecture per week and two hours of lab. Co-requisite: MTH 1750.
