Equations of lines, circles and conic sections, limits, and continuity. Derivatives and their applications to curve sketching, maxima-minima, and related rate problems. The antiderivative and definite integral, including change of variables and the fundamental theorem of calculus. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course. Enrollment Requirements: Completion of Math 140 & 141 with a C or better, or completion of MATH 143 with a C or better, or ALEKS score of 76+, or COMPASS Algebra 43+ AND College ALG. 51+ AND TRIG. 51+, or ACT Math 24+, or SAT Math 560+ if before 3/1/16 (580+ if after 3/1/16).
