I can honestly say don't take this class if you are not ready. he teaches as if you are a grad student. very confusing, the whole class was lost in what he wanted. This class is very stressful and would really make you considering dropping or taking a W grade. If English is not your major DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS

Awful professor, DO NOT RECOMMEND. He's not clear at all, very dull (he once spent 10 minutes giving different definitions on "darkness"), essay prompts are super confusing, and when you ask for clarification, he gives you a similarly vague answer. He teaches the class as if it's a mix linguistics and philosophy and he always goes off on tangents.
