30 hours fieldwork; 8 creditsIn-depth experience in the dynamics of actual public policy implementation in state government through direct involvement in legislative process. Course conducted in Albany, New York, and requires a working-learning contract between the student and the legislative sponsor. Weekly 30-hour internship in legislative office working with staff. Practice and development of interpersonal skills and career goals. On-site evaluation, written assignments, and reports.
