Integrates perspectives from the natural and social sciences to examine how human societies understand their relationship to the natural world, use natural resources, and shape environmental outcomes. Focuses on the issue of human-induced climate change to explore how the practice of science and human interactions with nature reflects broader societal trends. Includes a major project integrating course concepts.
