WORKSHOP (0 to 4 credits). Conferences and workshops are short courses conducted by qualified faculty or another expert in a particular field. No more than a total of 9 credits may be used to meet degree requirements or university graduation requirements. Class Notes: NOTE: Cross-listed with FORLNG 494-001, 76096, in room EDUC 224 DESCRIPTION: Overview of various aspects of Korean culture and history with emphasis on Korean cultural codes (including issues of gender), modern Korean history, traditional Korean music, K-pop and film. Includes readings, discussions, and short reflection papers. Course conducted in English.
