POLS 432 CIVIL WAR AND TERRORISM (3-0-3)(F/S). Study of the theoretical and empirical causes of non-state actors using force against states and civilians in both domestic and international spheres. The course also examines the motivations for other interested parties to intervene into conflicts on behalf of both states and rebels. PREREQ: POLS 306; or International Business or Global Studies major or minor, with junior standing or above or PERM/INST. Enrollment Requirements: Prerequisite: POLS 306; or International Business or Global Studies major or minor, with junior standing or above or PERM/INST.
