SPECED 565 - Special Education Research Methods I

Description
Prepares students to read, understand, and evaluate statistical and behavioral research in the field of special education. The course includes the study of statistical terms, an introduction to the type of research questions that can be answered by various statistical procedures, a knowledge of the basic steps of hypothesis testing, analysis and comparison of research designs, and the analysis of the utility of research. This course supports graduate students in the investigation of a topic that informs the practice of special educators. Prerequisites: Admission to Graduate Program. Enrollment Requirements: College of Education - Graduate.
