GEOG 121 - Physical Geography

Description
A survey of the interaction of earth climatic and geologic processes that contribute to the distribution of regional and global environments. Topics include: atmospheric and climate characteristics, crustal movements and processes, the use of selected mapping techniques, and soil and natural vegetation distribution. Corequisite: Concurrent registration in, or previous successful completion of, GEOG 121L. Class Notes: Hybrid courses meet for a majority of the time within the classroom. The other portion of the course is release time from the classroom to complete assigned work online. The instructor will provide a detailed description to students during the first week of class.
