David Whitney

Took his cogsci class as an extra to supplement my other courses. Ended up being super interesting and fun, and the lectures were always engaging. Very approachable and fun. Tests are worth a lot in the class though, and they are pretty difficult.

The lectures felt a bit long at times but very informative. Uses optical illusions to prove points which was really cool. Fun dry sense of humor and heavy use of visual aids. The discussions act as a nice recap of the lecture but definitely not a substitute. At times, it took having the motivation to go to OH in order to get clarity on material.
