5303 Seminar in Employment Law Prerequisite(s): Graduate standing. A study of the legal and regulatory framework governing the employment relationship, with particular emphasis on a business manager's role in providing the informed leadership necessary to maintain a workplace free of discrimination. The course will include topics such as employment contracts, equal-opportunity law (discrimination, sexual harassment, affirmative action), wrongful discharge, and employee privacy.
