This course focuses on timely and relevant topics in organizational behavior and human resource management that are not covered in the regular curriculum. The areas of study are determined each semester by the instructor offering the course. The course topics and pre-or co-requisites will be announced during the preceding semester. Students may take this more than once provided that different topics are covered. Class Notes: Many organizations are now attempting to incorporate environmental sustainability initiatives into their strategic planning and day-to-day operations. The success or failure of these initiatives often rests on the ability of leadership to implement and manage the change process. This course will cover the organizational change process, with particular focus on creating and managing transformational change around sustainability initiatives.
