Wow, I am surprised by the previous comment. I thought it was refreshing to have a professor who talked to you rather than at you. The reading was not overly difficult and the discussion was in-depth. Read, show up, participate, get an A. Not really that hard. Great teacher! And why would I look him up at a pretentious private school? Grow up.

Best professor I have had in my college career, & I will actively look for more classes from Dr. Newhauser. Extremely knowledgeable, engaging, promotes and encourages classroom discussion. You will not get by if you do not read, but he will make sure you know your efforts are appreciated. If you want the most out of a class, take one of his.
