No one can fault James DeMars for his brilliance. He's a really nice guy, and I'm sure an excellent teacher in an individual setting but in lecture, he seems overwhelmed and scattered. He can be unclear, and always runs out of time to explain homework which is unsettling when homework is such a huge part of your grade in this class. Very difficult.

Dr. DeMars is such a brilliant teacher and composer. He is so patient and nice. And the assignments helped me gained a lot.
