ACBS 410 - Animal Toxicology

Description
This course is focused on how animals are affected by toxic substances. The lectures will cover the principles of toxicology, factors affecting response to chemicals, common mechanisms of toxicity, toxicity to key organs, and the toxicity of substances relevant to small and large domestic animals. Class Notes: **Course Requisites: Two semesters of biology (MCB 181R and ECOL 182R, or MCB 184 and ECOL 182R) and one semester of chemistry (CHEM 151), or instructor consent.
