Description
The emergence of the European Union is one of the major events in European history. The course explores the genesis and evolution of the idea of European integration and chronicles its organizational development in the post WWII era. Emphasis is placed on the politics of integration and the emergence of the Union as a major participant in world events. [Dual-listed with PS 5743.] Dual-listed courses require senior standing; juniors may enroll with permission of the department.
