Description
A survey of the diverse political ideas represented in the American state from the colonial period to the present. Special emphasis is given to the political problems that emerge with the process of industrialzation and the movement into a postindustrial economy. Prerequisite: junior or senior standing, or permission of the instructor. [Dual-listed with PS 5710.] Dual-listed courses require senior standing; juniors may enroll with permission of the department.
