This course is designed to acquaint the student with a variety of non-Olympic, Summer and Winter Olympic sports. An overview of each sport will be presented, including sport rules, physiological and biomechanical requirements, and other performance characteristics. Typical resistance training programs for each sport will also be discussed. Prerequisite: Declared Exercise Science major or minor, ES 3002.
