This course focuses on opportunity exploitation in the entrepreneurial process. The emphasis in the course is on the dominant mode of opportunity exploitation which is venture creation. The course helps students develop the knowledge and skills needed to start a business that targets a new business opportunity. It is intended to be a capstone experience for students interested in entrepreneurship. Prerequisites: a minimum grade of â€œCâ€ in any Writing in the Discipline (WID) course, and ENT 3060, MKT 3050, and FIN 3680.
