GEN ED: Junior Writing in the Discipline (WID) A course designed to allow students to learn, through studying theories and through practical experiences, the concepts relative to communication and both genders. Study includes, but is not limited to, communication among both and single genders; communication role development; how gender communication affects family relationships; differences in verbal and nonverbal communication across genders; and how gender roles affect close relationships, education, the media, acts of violence, and the workplace.
