GEN ED: Social Science Designation; Liberal Studies Experience An assessment of the ideals and realities of American criminal justice processes, including law-making, policing, judicial process, correctional punishment, and media coverage of crime and criminal justice. The course takes a critical approach to criminal justice, focusing on the degree to which the realities of criminal justice practice match the theoretical ideals.
