Involves the completion of the senior project under the supervision of the instructor, who serves as the senior Project advisor. Students meet regularly with the instructor to discuss topics such as ethical standards for research, strategies for literature searches, organization and format of the project, and techniques for coding and interpreting data. Each student is required to have at least one meeting with both readers no later than the middle of the semester. An oral defense of the completed project is also required. Credit: Four semester hours. Prerequisite: PSYCH*207, one Advanced Topics course, the Junior Seminar, and permission of the instructor. Distribution Requirements: None.
