PSYCH 207 - Statistical Methods in Psych

Description
The second course in a two-semester sequence, focusing on statistical methods. Topics include probability and the logic of hypothesis testing, confidence intervals and effect sizes, parametric statistical tests (e.g., t-tests, ANOVA, and regression), nonparametric statistical tests, use of statistical data packages, and writing the results of a scientific report. Prerequisite: PSYCH*206, completed with a grade of C- or better. Students are encouraged to take Psychology 207 in the semester following Psychology 206. Distribution Requirements: QR, SP.
